Summer 2005
PaPerPlay Productions was created a little over three years ago as a small way to add creativity to the wedding industry and
has since grown into a company that plays a major role in many of the valley’s most fun and unique weddings!  As
PaPerPlay Productions grows in the future, we will always be on the lookout for the newest ideas and styles while
maintaining the elegance and sentimentality every wedding deserves.  With summer here and fall to quickly follow, many
brides in the valley are getting down to the last few months of planning.  Here are a few pointers to help fall brides stay on
track, organized and loving it all!

1.)        Get organized!  You may have started your planning process with a nice binder with sections for every vendor and
detail but there is a good chance that over the last several months, it has gone from organizational tool to a cluttered
contraption.  Take the time to go through all of your papers, packets, brochures, flyers and notes and discard those that are
no longer of relevance to the big day.  As you organize everything, start a note tablet of things you need to do such as
finalizing details with all of your vendors, make final decisions, schedule appointments and so on.  By making a list and
getting it all on paper, you will feel better equipped to make a game plan and get everything done.  Also, feel free to make a
separate list delegating responsibilities.  Your fiancé, family and friends are most likely willing to give up plans for a weekend
and help you accomplish everything.  Remember, your wedding day isn’t just important to you, it’s also important to those
who love you.

2.)        Don’t wait to the last minute!  Remember, over 30,000 weddings take place in the valley every year so it's
important to book your “last minute” vendors in advance or you may not have your pick!  Some of the vendors you will
decide on towards the end of your planning may be beauty professionals, transportation such as a limo or a specialty
vehicle, and a suite at a local resort for your wedding night.  Booking in advance not only gives you your choice of
professionals to choose from, but also gives you an opportunity to shop around and find the vendor that best suits your
needs and works within your price range.

3.)         Make time for you and those close to you!  You may feel that planning your wedding has put all the focus on you
as a bride among your family and close friends.  The truth is, the focus has been on your wedding and you as a bride, not
on you as a person.  Take some time before the wedding to have non-wedding occasions with your mom, sister, bridesmaid
and fiancé.  Go to lunch with your maid of honor and find out what’s the latest with her.  Have a nice dinner date with your
fiancé and rent some movies you have missed due to all the planning.  Take your mom out to a pottery painting shop or
scrapbooking class.  Whatever you do, try to make these occasions not about the wedding and try not to talk about the
wedding.  Take this time to just nourish your relationships.  It will make your wedding day that much sweeter!
